A Rite of Passage for Mothers & Daughters

Menarche is not merely a biological event.

Across traditions, the first menstruation was honoured as a threshold - a moment marking the passage from childhood into a new phase of feminine awareness and identity. Yet for many women, this transition unfolded quietly, without ceremony, reflection, or conscious witnessing.

This gathering offers an opportunity to approach this moment differently. How might this experience feel if it were welcomed with presence, curiosity, and meaning? If the transition into cyclical life were approached not as an inconvenience, but as an initiation into a new relationship with the body, rhythm, and inner perception?

This ceremony invites mothers and daughters into a shared space of awareness, dialogue, and conscious marking of this threshold.

The ceremony

Within a held and intimate environment, we create space for conversation, reflection, and gentle exploration of the meaning carried by menstruation and the feminine cycle. Together, we weave understanding, intention, and symbolic creation - forming a personal object designed to accompany this new phase of life.

The ceremony supports the emergence of a more conscious and supportive connection between generations.

Who this is for

For mothers and daughters who feel drawn to honour the transition into menstruation with awareness, presence, and shared reflection. For mothers who wish to deepen the intimate bond with their daughters and offer them a different, more conscious relationship to their cyclical nature than the one commonly shaped by our culture.

No prior knowledge or preparation is required.
